9 months already!

Happy 9 months NOLIE! It's been 9 months since our little nolan entered into this world into my arms, he has blessed us so much these past 9 months and more to come.He was 4lbs 10oz 18inches long, he is now 11lbs 3.5oz and 23.5 inches long! He continues to show everyone what he is capable of despite how many said he would have a very poor outcome and not live more than a week if he was born alive, (you just never know!) We couldnt imagine our lives without our precious miracle,Lexi loves her brother so much and enjoys each and every birthday with him (most likely b/c of the cake LOL) From today its going to be 3months till his 1 year b day, we are going to start planning it after we move and couldnt be more excited! Thank you everyone who follows his blog, it's here for everyone and anyone just to know there is some hope! and not to give up. Bless you all!

Sincerly Lexi and Nolan's mommy.

Cardiology/RSV immunization

Today was very early and long due to Noln's 2 appointments he had this morning at the Stollery Hospital.First appointment was his RSV shot, he was weighed and is now 10lbs 15oz! Next was time for the needle, the nurse injected synagis and he barely cried! just one little tear and a pouty lip.He was such a strong boy today :) After his needle we headed upstairs to cardiology where he had his echo cardiogram then his EKG his stats were great! The doctor then spoke with us about the echo his heart is still same...the hole in his heart is still large, causing the heart to beat harder then making the muscle thicker and heart slightly larger, long term effects can cause harm if left unfixed but this will take years for any permanent damage, since we dont know his oucome in the years to come, we dont need to give him surgey right at the moment, because he is coping excellent with it! as all the doctors can see they are so surprised at his progress and development! So surgery in the near future is out of question unless its an absolute thatwe have to later on or if something serious changes. He just seems to amaze everyone around him, we all love him soooo much!

HUGE MILESTONE!

Yesterday was soooo awesome! As i was getting ready to head over nathan's dad's house for nathan's birthday dinner, Nolan hit a huge milestone, he rolled completely over!! From his back to his belly. After he completed this we were so happy clapping for him and giving him kisses, he then put his bum in the air with his knees bent under him, trying to CRAWL! he's just not to sure what to do with his arms yet.But soon enough with practice he probably be teaching himself how to scoot all over here! We couldnt be more proud of him! and just to think Nathan got the bes gift ever for his 21st birthday, getting to celebrate with Lexi and especially havng Nolan here too!
